Today has been blissful. I woke up to a huge golden sun shining through my window directly onto my face. I kissed my two angels who were still sound asleep, made my coffee, sat outside and listened to the birds singing, headed off to get a crown on my tooth (even this didn’t put a damper on my mood) and just allowed myself to soak in the goodness surrounding me. We had our favorite girls over for some fun in the sun and pool time. I know I wont always have days like this…. I know Summer will come to an end and the cold and rain will come back (the thought makes me cringe) but for now I can’t get enough of life.
Vin and I went to San Francisco for the weekend and left the girls with my momma. It was fabulous. I love the city. I couldn’t live there but to visit makes me feel so adventurous and alive! I love the diversity and the energy in the city. Vin spent most of the time working so I took on the city alone. I walked about 1000 miles and saw the most beautiful sights. I ate amazing food and drank amazing coffee. I took a bazillion pictures and people watched for hours. It was a wonderful. Getting home to my girls was wonderful too. I can’t be away from them too long!
Traveling is something so important to me. There is a whole world out there and I want to experience it! I hope I have the chance to do it someday.
Now for pictures!
And there you have it. Another day, another blog!

You have to start back somewhere. Last I read we bought our current house. We hadn’t moved in yet but as of now we have been in it for about 3 months. We’ve closed some serious chapters since I have last blogged. Life is so surprising. It goes by so fast, especially when you reflect on all that has happened in the past 4 months. Cohen finished Kindergarten. She will be a first grader come Fall. Isla will be in preschool 3 days a week. I completed a chemistry series and a writing class. I will be conquering my biology classes starting this Fall. It’s all so strange! But good! Except for the fact that my babies are growing up, that just makes me depressed. I turned 29. We celebrated Easter. We celebrated Cohen’s 6th birthday. We visited the beach for mother’s day. My beautiful Grandma turned 90. I did a very fun Spring craft faire. We moved; let’s not forget how insanely awful moving is. We’ve lived and loved a lot. Now for some pictures!

Well there you have it. This last picture is my amazing and precious 90 year old grandma. I cherish the moments I have with her. I was curling her hair for her as she hasn’t been able to get to the salon due to some serious pain she was having. Thankfully she’s had some treatments to help with the pain but we are still praying she gains strength!
I hope you weren’t overwhelmed with all the updates in one blog post!! Now I am crossing my fingers I keep it up ;-)
